Thanks to our convenient location, it’s easy to head west to the charming villages of Mazunte, Zipolite, and San Agustinillo, with a visit to the La Ventanilla lagoon along the way—home to crocodiles, iguanas, and a wide range of birds. Alternatively, you can explore Huatulco, the tourist hub to the east. Both destinations are just a 45 to 60-minute drive from Salchi.

In addition to the hotel, Manta Raya boasts a beachfront restaurant under a cozy palapa, where a gentle ocean breeze keeps things cool. We offer a variety of seafood, including shrimp, tuna, and snapper, as well as top-quality cuts from our local butcher. We take great pride in the fact that everything—our salsas, dressings, breads, jams, desserts, and more—is homemade by our talented cooks.

To beat the heat, head over to the “P89” bar, where you’ll find a selection of Mexican beers, along with a range of craft and imported brews. Our full bar features a wide variety of cocktails (including jamaizcal, margaritas, and piña coladas), liquors, and an extensive selection of mezcal made from over 30 types of agave, such as espadín, tobalá, and madrecuixe.

And last but not least, we have a generously sized pool—perfect for a refreshing swim when the ocean gets a bit too rough.
